Lots of Giggles and Love
Today my Mom and sister, Chrissie, spent the day at our house. The boys had a great time! Auntie Chrissie kept them giggling all day. The boys were so excited, that for the first time when we tried to put them to bed they screamed...and screamed...and screamed. After about 15 minutes and multiple attempts to calm them down they finally conked out!
Dominic was too excited to eat. He finally sat on Auntie's lap, had to wear her glasses and have her hand feed him. What a character!

Joe giving my mom a kiss (he ate all his dinner...plus)-

We took the boys outside to play with their water table. I thought we would try the potty chairs again. Joseph really gave it his all, but no success. Is this a picture or what??

Happy Birthday Auntie Lisa
Happy Birthday Lisa! You are truly a blessing to this world. Your birthday is also a special day for our family. Without your birthday we would never know our two miracle babies.
Your presence on this earth is truly amazing. Thank you for your most unselfish gift of our two beautiful boys.
Thank you for all the love in my life! This picture says it all.

Happy Birthday- you deserve all the best.
"May the sun shine on your shoulders,
My the wind be always at your back,
And let no shadow cross your path.
May God grant you many years to live,
For sure He must be knowing
The earth has angels all too few
And Heaven is overflowing"

Brotherly Love
Lately, the boys have really been affectionate with each other. They are beginning to have feelings and are starting to notice if something is wrong with the other one.
Today, Joseph had a follow-up MRI from his surgery and need to be sedated. After the MRI he came home and just crashed on the floor. When Dominic woke from his nap, I told him "Joe did not feel well". This picture says exactly how Dom feels for his brother-

A big "Thanks" to my mom for spending the day with Joseph and I at Children's Hospital. It is always a difficult day when we need to go downtown. I really appreciate all of your patience and support. We certainly have met a lot of characters over the past two years! Never a dull moment!

Happy 4th of July!
We had a wonderful 4th of July! We had Matt's family and our friends over for dinner. The forecast in the morning called for a 70% chance of rain. We definitely were in the lucky 30%. The day and night could not have been more beautiful! The boys had a blast with their cousins and friends!

A Tribute to Matt on Father's Day
Matt is the most wonderful Father. He is so loving and caring with the boys.
-He is very patient.
-He is always very attentive to every need of the boys.
-He is very cautious and watches the boys so carefully.
-He is very organized. He always has things in order.
-He is always challenging the boys in a good way. The speech therapist told us to constantly question the boys. Matt so good a getting the boys to say 2-3 words together.
-One of my favorite things- is he is forever making the boys giggle, whether it be rough play or just being silly. He can get 2 crying toddlers into an all out belly laugh in about 2.5 seconds!
-He reads to the boys.
-When I am not home he keeps the boys on our schedule so that things run smoothly
-He respects my requests on how to do "things" when he is home alone with the boys.
Matt is an amazing Dad to our boys! Even though I do not say it enough, I appreciate every little thing he does for the boys and our family. Thank you for adding so much to our lives.

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's especially my Dad and Matt's Dad.

"PARTY BOYS"
Today we drove out to Northville to attend the graduation party of Andrea. Andrea is a little girl (well, not so little now) I used to babysit for! WHAT she is graduating!!
The boys had a blast with my parents and sister Marji. They ate so much I thought they would explode!
They were so tired and slept all the way home. As soon as we pulled in the driveway they woke up and with the sweetest little voices said "Party?...Nanny...Grandpa...Marji...Party..." You get the picture. This little chant soon became louder and louder and more insistent! They both had a major meltdown of epic portions right at the front door. They could not understand why the party had not continued at our home. Poor kids!
It took us a good 10 minutes to finally settle them down.
My two "Party Boys"! I hope this is not a sign of the future.
Nanny and Joseph-

Grandpa and Dominic-

Dominic certainly is not letting his casts get in the way of his fun-

A Visit From Auntie Marji
My sister Marji came out to visit us today. We decided since it was raining we would take the boys to Walmart. My sister does not have a Walmart by her so it was a REAL experience for her! The boys love going out in the rain so they can wear their new Nemo raincoats. The coats are so big, but they are really into Nemo. Too bad my sister and I did not have a raincoat like these, we got so wet from the down pour of rain on our way out of Walmart.
Dominic-

Joseph

We bought the boys some Viewfinders. I have not seen these since I was little. The boys thought they were so cool. Note to self: Good activity while waiting at a restaurant.

We all had a great time visiting with Auntie Marji. Next time we will come out to the country and visit Auntie Marji, Uncle Chris and possible their new puppy!
